Building Communities of Hope Near and Far
At the Oasis Vineyard our community extends to neighborhoods far away. We have the privilege of leading multi-church partnerships in Mexico and Cambodia. Our mission is to plant new churches, disciple and train indigenous leaders, and coordinate service missions to love children through Vacation Bible School.
Mexico
We have been serving in Sonora Mexico annually since 2002, often in partnership with other Vineyard churches. Prior to 2002, we took other trips with the purpose of building a dormitory facility, which is not completed and fully-functional. The building provides lodging throughout the year for missionary teams, as well as serves as a place to host various retreats for the indigenous church with whom we work.
During our annual trips to the province of Sonora Mexico, we have the privilege of serving 4 locations: Nogales, San Lazaro, Santa Cruz and Cuitaca.
Cambodia
Since 2003, we have had the great privilege of partnering with the Cambodian Vineyard to plant seven churches in various rural areas, mainly in the northern region of Cambodia, and one college ministry. Our goal is simple but God-sized: to cultivate a self-reproducing Khmer church planting movement in rural and metro Cambodia.
Along with planting churches, we have helped with the economic and financial burdens of many villagers by creating jobs that produce a sustainable income. Our next trip is in February 2016. Please join us in prayer as we seek His wisdom working to forge relationships with other churches intent on building communities of hope in Cambodia.
