Free lunch! Trays of meat, cheese, crackers, fruit, veg--& Martinelli's sparkling cider.
Free printed journals! By the kids, for everybody.
Author readings! We will snap our fingers in applause.
All ages! Invite your family, friends, mentors--anybody to show off to.
RSVP encouraged! At the kids' sign-in table or by text/e-mail.

Important info leading up to the event: Kids inside or outside of the usual Sunday crowd are welcome to submit poems, letters, prayers, photos, etc.--the deadline is March 20th. Kids who already have their prayer journals upstairs can easily use or revise any of their work from Sunday prompts.
Kids' Snow Day!
The kids have been begging for all kinds of snow games--snowballs, snow angels, fox & geese, and so on--and now here it is! Let's get out there before unseasonably warm weather leaves us in a puddle.
After church on January 21st, around noon, we'll set out in a caravan from 1750 Carriage Square, Taylorsville, UT 84119. Our destination will depend on the weather, but the church will still be our beginning and ending point. We'll provide a chicken-salad sacklunch to any kids and chaperones who want, and we can figure out carpooling, if necessary. Back again by 4pm. Sign up at the kids' table so we don't leave anyone behind! All ages welcome.
What to Bring:
winter weather clothes to layer on (coats, mittens, boots, hats, etc.)
any snow toys you'd like to bring along (sleds, etc.)
a change of dry clothes, if desired
your own favorite lunch, if you don't want chicken salad

National Day of Prayer Online
America has a rich history of observing National Days of Prayer! In 1952, President Truman signed a bill into law creating the National Day of Prayer and in 1988, President Reagan designated the first Thursday of May each year as the National Day of Prayer.
Join with Standing Together, in partnership with Loving Utah and The Vine Institute, as Utah churches gather online for a unique online prayer night for the 69th National Day of Prayer on May 7th, 2020 from 7PM to 8PM MT. Gather with believers from around Utah as pastors and ministry leaders lead us in a time of worship and prayer for our nation. We will unite together to pray for our state and for the ending of the tragic impact of the coronavirus around the world.
Devotional Speaker - New Creation Church, Craig McCune
Civic Speaker - Former Governor/Ambassador Jon Huntsman Jr. Worship Leader - Courageous Church, Jason Chatham
Greeter/Pledge of Allegiance - Adjunct General, BG Micheal J. Turley
We will be going live on the Standing Together Facebook and Youtube pages on May 7th, 2020 at 7pm MT, so please spread the word and join us as we unite in prayer on the National Day of Prayer!
Let's make May 7th, 2020 the most significant prayer meeting Utah has ever seen!
