As Oasis moves into 2017, we want to look together for God's direction as a church through corporate prayer and fasting on January 12-15th. Our fast will begin at sundown on Thursday the 12th with our first corporate prayer meeting on Friday evening from 7-8 PM. We'll continue on Saturday evening from 7-8 PM and then on Sunday from 5-6 PM, ending with a soup and bread potluck.
The most important things we can do during this time are...
- Draw near to God, read His Word and pray.
- Next, be sure to join us each night as we come together corporately to pray. Participate as you are comfortable, but keep in mind that gathering together encourages us all.
- Finally, feel free to fast food/media on whatever level you choose and are able to do. It is an exciting thing when God's people come in the spirit of Jeremiah 33:3, which says, "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."
